![]() I can do it only on windows machine starting the makemkv with admin rights, but priviledge mode in unraid does nothing. I have some Blu-rays which I cannot backup with this setup. Is there some way I can get this to work without resorting to privileged mode? I then tried to run the MakeMKV container as privileged mode on Unraid and it too seems to be working fine. I then tried running MakeMKV as administrator in windows and it ripped fine. There are about 6 titles, some cause actual SCSI errors and others just are out of sequence. I know Lionsgate is infamous for obfuscation and I never could rip Hellboy 2019 right, now I'm stuck on John Wick 3. What's interesting is that I tried the same disk on Windows and MakeMKV gave the same error (different drive). I've seen a bazillion tutorials for BD title obfuscation, but I'm a low tech guy, ripping redbox DVDs only to play to my 10 year old TV. Error 'Scsi error - ILLEGAL REQUEST:READ OF SCRAMBLED SECTOR WITHOUT AUTHENTICATION' occurred while reading 'BD-RE HL-DT-ST BD-RE WP50NB40 1.01' at offset '1048576' Current progress - 100%, Total process - 100% Alright I re-ran makemkv and 440 seems ok now. Current progress - 100%, Total process - 0% Name: John Wick Chapter 2 (English) Source file name: 00934.mpls Duration: 2:02:22 Chapters count: 16 Size: 19.8 GB. Current progress - 0%, Total process - 0% The last couple of days i tried to rip the John Wick 1 Blu-Ray disc, MakeMKV listed over 90 files on the disc with around 20 GB on each file. Current operation: Scanning CD-ROM devices MakeMKV v1.15.1 linux(圆4-release) started Disc detected in drive 0 (/dev/sr0): DS9S1D1. ![]() So, John Wick 2 sucks up about 110GB of storage on its own. So for now, Im storing 4K rips in a separate 4K library folder, AND keeping the original 1080p Bluray files around. John Wicks bit-rate is 80Mbit/s on average, spiking over 100 when playing. I was trying to rip a DVD and MakeMKV container kept ejecting the disk right away and the logs keep saying:Įrror 'Scsi error - ILLEGAL REQUEST:READ OF SCRAMBLED SECTOR WITHOUT AUTHENTICATION' occurred while reading 'BD-RE HL-DT-ST BD-RE WP50NB40 1.01' at offset '1048576' And that means no remote streaming because not many people have a Upload one 100Mbits or more.
